I started taking photographs from as early as I can remember, I still have some of the results, never mind, blurred pictures are now very trendy.

     I attended photographic college in the 1970's to learn the chemistry of photo processing which served me well. After leaving the Traffic Police I started my own photo processing laboratory in Worthing, it became a major force in the industry and I had some 46 staff producing pictures for other photographers in the South

    What the photo processing took away from me was my interaction with people, I just love relaxing my subjects and letting their natural character come through. I enjoy people, I hate these digital cameras with 4000 menus but I have succumbed, its takes a while to forget all their bells and whistles and to learn to treat them as a camera not a computer. I come from the 'old school' if you want a photographer in a tee shirt and jeans close this now, let me show you how pictures should be taken, PAINTING WITH LIGHT . I can photograph you in a  formal wedding situation or portraiture, I excel in company PR and reportage is quite fun. The results speak for themselves, never mind the others, have the best!!

    I will only ever photograph one wedding on a day, I don't use operators. This also applies to company events and PR, I may have an assistant but I will be there.

    I live in Sussex, well Poynings actually, hence the name. Two girls grown up and a Red Setter that promises to grow up. Sorry and a wife, and a horse.
